About the project
Arctic Bay is a Canadian manufacturer of extreme-cold weather outerwear — parkas, coats, and accessories — crafted in Winnipeg and Montreal using 725-fill Canadian duck down and proprietary True North™ fabric with YKK® zippers.
We built and customized the Shopify store with a clean, modern e-commerce interface featuring high-quality product imagery, multi-currency support (CAD, USD, EUR, GBP), and worldwide delivery. Key functionality includes product filtering and search, customer account management for order tracking, and payment integrations including PayPal and Sezzle buy-now-pay-later.
An educational blog section reinforces brand authority around winter gear performance and care, while the "Crafted in Canada" brand story is woven throughout the design to build trust with international buyers.

The Challenge
Arctic Bay made world-class winter gear but had an online store that looked like a hobby project. International buyers — especially in the US and EU — had no way to pay in their currency, and the brand story of Canadian craftsmanship was buried or absent entirely.
The Solution
We built a premium Shopify storefront with multi-currency support (CAD/USD/EUR/GBP), Sezzle buy-now-pay-later integration, and a storytelling-first design that weaves the "Crafted in Canada" brand narrative throughout. Product pages lead with technical performance data — fill power, fabric specs, temperature ratings.
